The Bullring Theatre has announced new performance dates for its forthcoming original musical A Clockwork Heart, which will now take to the stage at Brading New Town Hall on 24th and 25th October. The production had originally been due to take place on 18th and 19th September but has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
A Clockwork Heart is an entirely original musical, written and produced here on the Isle of Wight. The story explores love, transformation and ultimately finding out what it truly means to be alive.
The musical follows inventor Florence Ward and her extraordinary creation, Clockwork Rose, an automaton unlike anything the world has seen before. As Rose begins to discover a will and identity of her own she longs for freedom and to control her own destiny.
The production is part of the growing programme of community performing arts at The Bullring Theatre at Brading New Town Hall with support by the Brading Town Council, bringing new and original theatre to local audiences while providing opportunities for Island performers and creatives.
All existing bookings remain valid and will automatically be transferred to the corresponding new performance date:
Bookings for Friday 18th September will be transferred to Saturday 24th October at 7:30pm. Bookings for Saturday 19th September will be transferred to Sunday 25th October at 6:30pm.
Those who have already booked do not need to take any action. Anyone who would prefer to attend the alternative October performance can have their booking changed by contacting The Bullring Theatre at [info@thebullring.uk](mailto: info@thebullring.uk) or 07500 864417.
Tickets for A Clockwork Heart are completely free, continuing The Bullring Theatre’s commitment to making live performance accessible to the community. Donations will be welcomed at the performances from those who are able to contribute, with donations helping to support the theatre and its programme of community performing arts.
